Community Creative Nights
Join the Education and Language and Culture Departments for a fun night of fellowship and crafting. We have some special offerings in January and February as well as our regular open crafting time.
T-shirt Quilt Making – January 14 and 28, February 11 and 25
We will be learning beginning basics to make a small t-shirt quilt. Attendees should bring no more than nine t-shirts that they would like to turn into a lap quilt. Space is limited for this workshop so attendees must RSVP to make a quilt (priority will be given to GLT Citizens and their households). There will be no open sewing during these evenings.
To sign up to make a quilt please RSVP to Karen Bos at karen.bos@glt-nsn.gov.
Finger Weaving – January 14 and 28 | 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Kristy Dayson will guide attendees through the art of finger weaving while working towards completing their first belt.
This workshop will take place in the Language and Culture Department while open crafting is happening in the Learning Center. Materials will be provided.
