About the Education Department

The Gun Lake Tribe Education Department is committed to enriching the educational experiences of Tribal Citizens. With the continued support of the Tribal Council, the Education Department is able to provide a wide range of services for Tribal Citizens of all ages. Assistance includes PreK-12 grade programs, Higher Education, with full tuition payments for Citizens, GED Testing Assistance and Recreation Funding.

Education Department Mission

The Education Department’s Mission is to promote and assist our Tribal Citizens
with educational opportunities that encourage and support an enriched standard
of living through life-long learning.

Citizen Activity Program

The purpose of the Citizen Activity Program is to offer financial assistance to Tribal Citizens who participate in organized recreational activities. Appropriate Citizen Activity Program requests are for sports, performing arts, school activities, gym memberships and/or driver’s training.
