Culture Corner

The Gun Lake Tribe Language & Culture Department’s “Culture Corner” is a series of Culture get togethers held every other Tuesday evening and hosted by our Language and Culture Department. These virtual sessions may include a Specific Culture teaching, lesson, learning a craft or even hands-on cooking lessons. Culture Corner teachings are being provided as an additional opportunity to learn more about our Neshnabek Culture and typically last around an hour. The Culture Corners are open to Citizens, as well as the Gun Lake Tribal community as a whole and levels of learning. Cultural Workshops

The Language & Culture Department hosts various Workshops and Cultural Teachings throughout the year. Workshops may be a hands-on project, craft or learning about certain cultural teachings. Cultural Teachings will often reflect and align with the seasons and their respective responsibilities.
