Public Health AlertThe Kent County Health Department has officially confirmed their first case of Measles in Kent County, making this the second case of Measles in Michigan this year. Due to the close proximity of GLT HHS to Kent County, we are encouraging patients and community members to reach out to their primary care providers to review their MMR (Measels, Mumps and Rubella) vaccination status. GLT HHS has the MMR vaccine available and encourages you to reach out to a nurse to review your records and schedule a vaccine if needed. Patient confidentiality is a conscious effort by the Gun Lake Tribe Health and Human Services staff to keep private all personal information revealed by the patient.
