In collaboration with Kalamazoo in Bloom

Join Staff from the Gun Lake Tribe’s Language & Culture Department, Tribal Historic Preservation Office and GLT Youth in partnership with the Kalamazoo In Bloom committee in planting for the Three Sisters Garden.

A three-part series beginning on
Saturday, May 23, 2026 with planting Mdamenek (corn).
Saturday, May 30 2026 with Kosman (squash).
Because of the importance in companion planting, the Kotthesek (beans) planting date is TBA.
