Tai Chi is a gentle mind-body exercise that involves slow, flowing movements combined with deep breathing and focused attention. Originally developed as a Chinese martial art (known as Tai Chi Chuan), it is now commonly practiced improving health, relaxation, and balance. A live feed option will be made available upon request!

Benefits of Tai Chi include:

• Improved balance and coordination
• Increased flexibility and muscle strength
• Reduced stress and anxiety
• Better posture and circulation
• Support for joint health, which may help people with conditions such as arthritis

Because it is slow and low-impact, Tai Chi is suitable for people of many ages and fitness levels.

The Injury Prevention Program is 100% funded by the Indian Health Service Tribal Injury Prevention Cooperative Agreement Program.
