Peacemaking in Action: From Teaching to Circle

Facilitated by: JoAnne Cook, Peacemaker and Jason Wesaw, Peacemaker

Schedule:

• 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – Opening
• 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Introduction to Peacemaking (there will be a 15-minute break)
• 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Preparing for the Circle
• 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Lunch – Bring a dish if you are able. This will be a potluck style.
• 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Peacemaking Circle
• 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closing) – Citizen Discussion on how to implement peacekeeping

Dress:
The morning session will be indoors, and the afternoon will be outdoors, so please wear comfortable clothing. There is seating under the pavilion, and a fire will be lit. This will be a potluck event and details about dishes will be circulated as we get closer to the event.
