Nmé Celebration

Join the Gun Lake Tribe for the annual Nmé Celebration as we honor the lake sturgeon of the Kalamazoo River and their cultural importance to the Tribe. The event will feature ceremony, educational booths, remarks from Tribal representatives and the Environmental Department, and opportunities to learn about the Tribe’s ongoing work to protect and restore nmé for future generations.
