Mnomen Tool Making Workshop

Thursday, August 6 | 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.| Jijak Garden Barn

Gun Lake youth and community members are invited to make traditional mnomen (wild rice) tools with our Mnomen Mentors, Gun Lake Tribe Environmental and Language and Culture staff. These tools supply our community throughout the harvest season. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for woodworking and handling sharp tools. Lunch is provided. Funded in part by a US BIA Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Grant.
