John Bush Memorial Fishing Contest

Fishing: Sunrise – 11:00 a.m.
Weigh-In: 11:30 a.m. at the Picnic Pavilion
Filleting our Harvest, Lunch, Prizes and Awards: 11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

• Weigh-in will occur at the Picnic Pavilion at 11:30 a.m.; no late entries accepted.
• It’s Free Fishing Weekend! No Michigan fishing license is needed!
• No gas motors are allowed on Boot Lake.
• Environmental Department staff will be at the boat launch to sanitize boats to reduce invasive species transportation.
• Prizes and awards will be presented for heaviest bass (must be at least 14”) and for highest total weight of five panfish (must be at least 4”) per person for youth 10 years old and younger, youth 11-15 and ages 16+.
