Elder Shipshewana Trip

Come join us on our annual voyage to the flea market and enjoy a day of shopping, tasty food, good laughs and Elder bonding!

The bus will depart from Luella Collins Community Center at 9:00 a.m. sharp.

Elders with any mobility issues can rent a motorized scooter on the flea market grounds. Contact the Elder staff if you need more information or assistance with renting a scooter.

We will be utilizing our Elder bus for transportation. Seats on the bus are reserved on a “first-come-first-served” basis. Spouse/Support Persons are allowed to attend, BUT if we have enough Elders who RSVP, seats on the bus will go to Citizens first. Any Elders who wish to follow in their own vehicle may do so, but must still call staff to RSVP so we can plan accordingly for their meal.

The group will be eating at the Famous Das Dutchman Essenhaus Restaurant. We will have a firm cut-off date for RSVPs given the popularity of this event.
