John Bush Memorial Fishing Contest

Saturday, June 7
Luella Collins Community Center, Boot Lake

Fishing: Sunrise-11:00 a.m.
Weigh-In: 11:30 a.m. at the Picnic Pavilion
Filleting our Harvest, Lunch and Prizes: 11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

• Weigh-in will occur at the Picnic Pavilion at 11:30 a.m., no late entries accepted.
• It’s Free Fishing Weekend, no Michigan fishing license is needed!
• No gas motors are allowed on Boot Lake.
• No alcohol allowed.
• Environmental Department staff will be at the boat launch to sanitize boats to reduce invasive
species transportation.
• Prizes and awards will be presented for the heaviest bass (must be at least 14”) for adult and youth
(under 16) and for the highest total weight of five panfish per person for adult and youth.
