DESCRIPTION:Join GLT’s Social Service staff for a monthly support group. This group is intended to support recovery for individuals or family members of those that have been affected by domestic violence or an unhealthy relationship.\n*This group will provide a safe confidential space, while learning how to use new tools that will support personal growth. All are welcome to join us. At each group, participants will be provided a lunch and a gift that will support their recovery and healing process.*\n\nFebruary 27- Understanding DV and Recovery\nMarch 27 – Empowering Yourself\nApril 24- Letting Go of Shame and Guilt\nMay 22-Handling Stress and Anxiety\nJune 26- Releasing Anger\nJuly 24 – Changing How You Talk to Yourself\nAugust 28 – Healthy Relationships\nSeptember 18 – Moving on to Health Relationships\n\nSupport groups will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the group starts at 12:00 p.m. Health and Human Services Conference Room\nParticipants are encouraged to RSVP by email to dominique.ambriz@hhs.glt-nsn.gov or text/call 616.710.0244 so that staff can adequately accommodate all participants.\nIf you have a food allergy or sensitivity, please mention that when you RSVP.
