DESCRIPTION:September 13 and 14| Starts at 10:00 a.m.\nAlcona Dam Pond Campgrounds | 2550 Ausable Rd, Glennie, MI\nGLT Families and Community Members 18+ are invited!\nBring your family and friends out to the river, for a weekend of all things Mnomen! We’ll provide you with meals, harvesting equipment, materials for workshops and a limited number of campsites. Please RSVP to reserve your spot.\nTransportation will be available for those who wish to carpool. A shuttle bus for transportation will leave the government campus at 9.00 a.m. Saturday, and return Sunday evening.\nDay one will consist of ceremony and harvesting, while day two will consist of breakout workshops and a push-poling competition. Day two’s breakout sessions will include tool crafting, momen processing, and a timed push-pole competition. There are a limited amount of campsites the Gun Lake Tribe will be providing, but additional sites/cabins will be available for purchase.
