DESCRIPTION:Come join us along with Deb Timmerman as she guides us through Tai Chi at the HHS Wellness Center.\n\nThe deliberate movements help people to feel more relaxed, grounded and present in their bodies. This lowers anxiety, stress and depression, while improving memory, focus and sleep. Evidence of benefit for preventing falls, osteoarthritis, Parkinson’s disease, rehabilitaion for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and improving cognitive capacity in older adults.\nTai Chi will be held on the following dates from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the GLT Wellness Center.
